Cold Calling
January 2022. My sister rings. A swirling winter storm barreled towards her location. She figured her big brother Lucas, Mr. Protect and Serve, would know what emergency items to get if her power or heat went out. But I didn’t. Not for her and not even for me.
There was no real excuse.

Quitting The “Never Gonna Happen” Club
Like a lot of folks, I was a card-carrying member of the “Eh, it’ll never happen to me” club and kept putting the need for preparedness on the backburner despite seeing victims of weather-related tragedies on the news year after year.

Had Money For Nothing
Emergency supplies just weren’t in my budget—BUT I always found money to burn on material junk. Did I really need a “bedroom” PS5? My sister’s call made real priorities a real priority and frivolous spending had to stop. With that, my preparedness journey began.
You know what I found?

A Time-Sucking Black Hole
What seemed as simple as rice, beans, water and a generator was anything but.
There were dozens of:
- Emergency Preparedness Lists
- Prepping Websites
- YouTube Prepping Channels
That Recommended : Vast numbers of preparedness products.
Pure. Information. Overload.

The New Prepper Problem: Trial and Error
I started to buy emergency preparation gear.
It didn’t go smoothly.
Long months of expensive trial-and-error testing revealed what worked and what didn’t.
Then it hit me: there had to be a way to make the prepping process easier, less time-consuming and less frustrating for
busy, everyday people.
The Solution:
How Do We Make This Happen?
- By listening to your preparedness needs
- Then presenting several equipment options tailored to fit those individual needs.
What’s Your Benefit?
Time and Hassle. We save you from the time sink of researching and evaluating tens to dozens of emergency equipment products for your home, vehicle and person.

The idea behind Stay Ready Prepping was sparked by my sister’s phone call for advice, and this business strives to treat customers just like family.
